Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of bit7s.com (the "Service") operated by Bit7s ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

2. Your Account

• You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in the EU) to create an account.
• You must provide a valid email address and are responsible for keeping your password secure.
• One account per person. Sharing accounts is prohibited.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account.

3. Acceptable Use

You may use the Service to create marketing pages, short links, and QR codes for legitimate commercial, personal, or educational purposes. You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service to promote illegal content, adult content, gambling, weapons, or hate speech.
• Use the Service to distribute malware, phishing, or spam.
• Redirect to URLs that contain malicious scripts or deceptive content.
• Upload images that you do not have the right to use (copyright infringement).
• Attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or overload our infrastructure.
• Resell or sublicense access to the Service without written permission.

Violations are covered in our Abuse Policy and may result in immediate suspension.

4. Your Content

• You retain ownership of images, links, and text you upload.
• You grant Bit7s a limited license to host, display, and serve your content as part of the Service.
• You are solely responsible for the legality of your content and the destinations of your links.
• You must comply with CCPA, GDPR, and other applicable privacy laws when tracking visitors.

5. Plans and Pricing

The Service offers a Free plan and paid plans (Starter, Pro, Business). Current pricing is published on our pricing page and shown in full at checkout before you pay.

• Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in US Dollars (USD). We accept PayPal and major credit/debit cards processed through Airwallex. Eligible purchases may also be paid from a prepaid in-account wallet balance as described in Section 7.
• The total displayed at checkout is the exact amount charged. All charges are in USD; Bit7s performs no currency conversion and does not charge in any other currency.
• Card details are entered on the payment provider's secure hosted checkout page. Bit7s never receives, sees, or stores your full card number; payment data is processed directly by PayPal or Airwallex.
• Payments are non-refundable except as described in our Refund Policy or where required by mandatory consumer protection law.
• We do not charge transaction fees on commerce linked from your pages.

6. Subscriptions and Auto-Renewal

• Paid plans are subscriptions. Unless you cancel, your subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual) at the then-current price for your plan and billing interval.
• Where required by applicable law, we send a renewal reminder by email before the renewal date, stating the renewal date, the amount that will be charged, and how to cancel.
• You may cancel auto-renewal at any time in your billing settings or by emailing support@bit7s.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep full access until then, and no cancellation fee applies.
• If a renewal payment cannot be collected, we may retry the charge and notify you. If payment remains outstanding after the paid period ends, your account may be downgraded to the Free plan.
• Plan changes: upgrades and same-plan renewals are always available. Downgrade to a lower tier during an active paid period is not supported. To move to a lower tier, cancel auto-renewal in your Billing settings, wait for the current period to end, then subscribe to the new tier.
• Your payment instrument is held by PayPal or Airwallex under their respective payment and privacy terms; Bit7s does not store it.

7. Wallet Balance, Top-Ups and Resource Packs

You may hold a prepaid in-account wallet balance ("Balance") denominated in USD, used exclusively to pay for subscriptions and one-off resource packs (extra short links, bio pages and QR codes) within the Service.

• Top-ups are made by manual bank transfer. You initiate a top-up request in the app (minimum amount shown at the time of request, currently USD 50), transfer the funds to the bank account we display, and upload a payment receipt or screenshot ("voucher"). The Balance is credited only after our team manually verifies the payment, typically within 1–3 business days.
• Balance is not a bank account, deposit, e-money, stored-value instrument or payment instrument held by a third party. It is a prepaid service credit with no intrinsic value outside the Service.
• Balance cannot be withdrawn, transferred between users, exchanged for cash, or used outside the Service. Balance is non-transferable and cannot be resold or gifted, except where mandatory law requires otherwise.
• Resource packs are one-off quota extensions purchased with Balance. Purchased pack quantities do not expire and are consumed only after the quota included in your subscription plan is used up.
• Every Balance movement (top-up credit, subscription debit, pack purchase, and any administrator adjustment) is recorded in an immutable transaction ledger attached to your account.
• We do not pay interest or any other return on Balance. Risk of loss for Balance does not pass until the corresponding service is delivered.
• If your account is terminated for breach of these Terms, unused Balance is forfeited except where mandatory law requires a refund, in which case the refund rules in our Refund Policy apply.
• You must verify each credited top-up in your account and report discrepancies to support@bit7s.com within 30 days.

8. Free Plan

The Free plan is permanent and includes limited monthly volume. We may modify Free plan limits with 30 days' notice. Free plan pages may display a "Powered by Bit7s" badge.

9. Fair Use

Each plan has a monthly marketing page and short link creation quota. Quotas are listed on the pricing page. If you exceed your plan's quota, you will be prompted to upgrade or to purchase a one-off resource pack described in Section 7. We do not bill overage fees without prior consent.

10. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, and trademarks, is owned by Bit7s. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute the platform code. "Bit7s" and the Bit7s logo are our trademarks.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that links will never be unavailable or that analytics will be 100% accurate. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Service.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid in the previous 12 months, or $100 USD, whichever is greater. Unspent prepaid Balance that we are legally required to return is not damages and is returned under our Refund Policy.

13. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or our Abuse Policy. You may delete your account at any time from the dashboard or by emailing legal@bit7s.com.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. The "Last updated" date reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be announced by email 30 days before taking effect.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the jurisdiction where our servers are operated. See Company Information for details. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction unless otherwise required by local consumer protection law, including your right to bring proceedings in the country of your habitual residence.
