Bit7s is a marketing link & page platform for small e-commerce brands. We turn product images into trackable marketing pages with a short link, QR code, and built-in analytics. No HTML, no landing page builder, no UTM setup required.

4. Why This Architecture

• User proximity - Our target users are US-based small e-commerce brands. Servers in us-west minimize page load latency.
• Privacy compliance - By keeping data on US/SG servers and not transferring it back to China, we align with CCPA expectations and avoid cross-border data transfer issues under GDPR.
• Payment compliance - Using Stripe/Paddle enables compliant card processing and tax handling in the US, EU, and other supported regions. We do not route payments through China-based processors.
• Network reliability - Cloudflare provides global anycast edge delivery and protection against DDoS attacks, ensuring high uptime for marketing links that may receive sudden traffic spikes.
• Content availability - International domain and Cloudflare DNS ensure the platform remains accessible globally without interference from any single jurisdiction's network controls.

5. Data Residency

Visitor data and account data are stored on servers located in Singapore. We do not store personal data on servers physically located in China. Backups, if any, are encrypted and kept within the same cloud region as the primary database.

7. Compliance

• CCPA - We honor California consumer rights including access, deletion, and opt-out of sale (we do not sell data).
• GDPR - We process visitor data as a Data Processor for account holders and provide a DPA on request.
• COPPA - We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
• ePrivacy Directive - We use only strictly-necessary cookies. See our Cookie Policy.
