1. Our Approach to Cookies

Bit7s uses a strict minimum-cookie approach. Unlike many SaaS platforms that load advertising trackers, retargeting pixels, and third-party analytics cookies, we only set cookies that are strictly necessary for the service to function.

Bottom line: We do not place advertising, cross-site tracking, or third-party analytics cookies. The only cookies on bit7s.com are session cookies required to keep you logged in.

2. Cookies We Set

3. What We Do NOT Use

4. Visitor-Side Tracking

When someone visits one of your marketing pages or clicks one of your short links, we record basic server-side information (IP, User-Agent, Referer). This is stored in our server logs, not in browser cookies. See our Privacy Policy for what we collect and how long we keep it.

5. Managing Cookies

Because we only use strictly-necessary cookies, no cookie banner or consent dialog is required under the EU ePrivacy Directive or GDPR. However, you may still clear or block cookies at any time:

If you block the session cookie, you will not be able to log in to your Bit7s account.

6. Embedded Content

If you embed an image or link that points to a third-party domain (e.g., an Amazon product image), that third party may set its own cookies. We have no control over those cookies and recommend reviewing the privacy policy of the destination site.

7. Changes to This Policy

If we ever add non-essential cookies (such as analytics or personalization), we will update this page and display a consent banner at least 30 days before doing so.
